Zhao Dadun »¯¤j¶w 1918-

He is a native of Taishan, Guangdong province. Zhao studied classical Chinese and literature first in a private school and later with his uncle. Fleeing the Sino-Japanese warfare he moved in 1937 to Vietnam, where he served as teacher and headmaster of various schools for over forty years. Upon the closure of the Vietnam War in 1975 he moved to the United States then Taiwan, and later spent eight years in Hong Kong teaching Chinese at Shue Yan College and the Hok Hoi Library. He migrated to Australia in 1983. His publications include Tingyulou shicao Å¥«B¼Ó¸Ö¯ó [Poems from Tingyulou].
