Zhu Qingyu (9th century)

After gaining the jinshi degree in 826, Zhu was appointed to work on the Imperial Diary in the Palace Library. He gained fame for his poetry when his talent was recognized by the influential poet Zhang Ji (767?-830?). Praised for clear diction and fine descriptions, Zhu's poems are collected in Zhu Qingyu shiji [Poetry collection of Zhu Qingyu].
