Zhu Tianwen (Chu Tien-wen) 1956-

Contemporary Taiwan writer. Zhu graduated from the English Department of Tamkang University in 1978. In the early 1990s Zhu Tianwen and her sister Tianxin both established themselves as leading fiction writers. She has edited various literary magazines and has won prizes for her short stories and film-scripts. Her short story collections include Chuanshuo [Legends] and Zui xiangnian de jijie [The most missed season]. Available in English: Notes of a Desolate Man (tr. Howard Goldblatt and Sylvia Lin).
