Zhu Tianxin (Chu Tien-hsin) 1958-

Contemporary Taiwan writer with a number of major literary awards to her credit. Zhu graduated from the History Department of National Taiwan University. She started writing creatively in the early 1980s, and by the early 1990s she and her sister Zhu Tianwen were recognized as leading fiction writers in Taiwan. She was a literary editor and is currently a freelance writer. Collections of short stories include Fangzhou shang de rizi [Days on board the ark].
