A centre for professional development and research for educators and teachers in Hong Kong and Chinese communities worldwide.
Physics World
The website is established by Department of Physics, CUHK, in collaboration with EMB. A wide range of resources including PowerPoint presentations, animations, videos, images, a question bank, as well as popular articles highlighting the frontiers, history and daily applications of physics are included.
Contextual Physics in Ocean Park
A teaching package jointly developed by Education and Manpower Bureau, HKSAR, Ocean Park Hong Kong, and Department of Physics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Hands-on activities are designed using Ocean Park as a virtual laboratory of Physics. Data, images, videos, animation and explanations on some of the major rides in the Ocean Park are provided.
Energy Efficiency
A teaching package jointly developed by CLP Power Ltd., Hongkong Electric Co. Ltd., Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, Education and Manpower Bureau, HKSAR, Ocean Park Hong Kong, and Department of Physics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The package provides learning and teaching resources for 18 topics on the generation, utilization and transportation of energy, with a wide range of multimedia tools and learning activities.
