We understand that the selection of a major programme is one of the most critical decisions in your life, and is always challenging, especially when you are still in secondary school with very limited information available. Starting from the intake of 2009, CUHK launched the Broad-based Admissions School of the Life Sciences Programmes under the Faculty of Science. It aims to assist students in identifying their interests in the diverse fields of life sciences before selecting a major programme. The Life Sciences Programmes encompass six majors, and they are:

Each major offers unique education and training in their respective fields of life sciences, and prepares graduates for the versatile careers and postgraduate studies in biological, biomedical, health sciences as well as other related fields.
