課程目標
In a modern and knowledge-based society like Hong Kong, there is a rapidly growing demand for postgraduate training that can facilitate life-long self-improvement and career development through strengthening one's critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and broadening one's perspectives and knowledge base.
Against this backdrop, the present programme is designed to respond to the demand by introducing various sociological perspectives and applying them in the analysis of a wide range of social phenomena, covering topics such as individual and society, society and culture, and the social impact of technological and environmental changes.
本課程將透過社會學的觀點來分析各種社會現象，以提升個人批判思考及探究問題的能力，拓展多元視野及擴闊知識領域。所探討的題材將包括個人與社會、社會與文化、科技發展與環境變遷對社會的影響等。
