CUHK's
Sociology Programme Ranked Top 30 in
the World by QS Rankings 2011
The
QS World University Rankings released
its top universities for six social science
subjects. The subject ranking is rated
by three indicators - Academic Reputation,
Employer Reputation and Citations per
Paper. The weighting of each indicator
is based on publication patterns and
level of employer interest in the given
subject area (source: qs.com). Department of Sociology is ranked the first among all sociology departments
in Hong Kong and topped the 30th in the
world.
