Professor CHOW Chun Chung Francis is the President of the Hong Kong Association for the Study of Obesity. He is a Consultant Physician and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor, Chief of Service at the Department of Medicine & Therapeutics; and the Head of Division of Endocrinology & Diabetes at the Prince of Wales Hospital, both are at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Professor Chow's main clinical service is Consultant In-charge of Endocrine and Diabetes Services in the NTE-Cluster Hospitals serving a population of over 1.3 million. He is also teaching the undergraduate medical students and training the postgraduate doctors in both General Medicine and Endocrinology. He is appointed as the Chief of Service in Department of Medicine & Therapeutics, Prince of Wales Hospital since April 2004. Over the years, he has published extensively, and is author and co-author of over 100 publications of original research and reviews in international journals. His research interests include epidemiology and various new treatments in diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders and pituitary disease.
