書院每年均聯同外地一些著名大學合辦語文及文化研習課程。凡經成功面試的同學，均可獲書院資助前往外地參加語文及文化研習課程。
United College will collaborate with some renowned universities in the world in organizing Language and Culture Programmes. Selected applicants after interviews will receive College grant to participate in this programme.

計劃目的 Objectives

• 為聯合書院學生提供語言訓練及運用英語及普通話的機會。在自然的語言環境下，改善語文水平
  To provide students in need of input and interaction and who should have a better understanding of the target language (TL) with a short immersion to practise using TL
• 了解當地文化及風土人情
  To appreciate the culture in an authentic, native context

• 入讀外地大學之語文課程
  Structured language classes offered by the receiving university
• 與當地學生進行文化交流
  Intensive one-to-one immersion between CUHK students and student representatives of the host university
• 與當地接待家庭共住
  Homestay arrangement
• 參觀當地文化及歷史名勝
  Visits to cultural and historical places
