書院每年於五月下旬舉辦為期各三日兩夜的英語學習營及普通話學習營，目的是以活動形式，增加學生學習語文之興趣，增強他們運用英語及普通話的信心。入營期間，學生將全面運用英語或普通話作溝通。
United College will organize three-day-two-night language immersion camps for students during late May to early June every year. This is an activity-based course designed to help students to develop confidence and spoken English and Putonghua proficiency in an informal, language-rich environment within a relatively short period of time. The course is run in the form of an intensive activity camp, in which the problem-based or task-based approach to language learning and practice will be adopted.
