新生輔導營

 二零零五年聯合書院新生輔導營訂於八月廿四至廿七日在書院校園舉行,主題為「聯合無雙」,籌委會希望透過四日三夜的活動,協助新生思考大學生的角色,從而定立屬於自已,獨一無二的大學之道。查詢請致電9888-1822與輔導營籌委會主席關凱騰同學聯絡。

 

Orientation Camp

The 2005 United College Orientation Camp will be held on the College campus from 24 to 27 August 2005.  The theme of this year’s camp is "Lianhe Wushuan 聯合無雙".The camp organizing committee aims to help freshmen understand the roles of university students and set their individual, unique goals for the undergraduate years. For further information contact Mr Chris Kwan, Chairperson of the Orientation Camp Organizing Committee on 9888-1822.

 

新生入學典禮
 

本年度書院新生入學典禮訂於二零零五年九月九日(星期五)下午一時三十分假邵逸夫堂舉行,歡迎本院員生蒞臨觀禮。書院同時誠邀各教職員出席當日正午十二時在書院文怡閣舉行之午餐。餐後將有專車接載各位同仁前往邵逸夫堂參加典禮,及於典禮後返回書院。

2005/2006 UC Orientation Ceremony

The 2005/2006 UC Orientation Ceremony will be held on Friday, 9 September 2005 at 1:30pm at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. All UC members are invited to join the College in welcoming this year’s freshmen. Staff members are also invited to attend the Luncheon to be held on the same day at 12 noon at the UC Staff Common room. Shuttle buses will be arranged to take staff members to Sir Run Run Shaw Hall for the Ceremony and return to the College afterwards.

聯合學生榮獲長江澳洲毅進獎學金

 本院新聞及傳播學院二年級陳曉兒同學榮獲長江澳洲毅進獎學金,將獲港幣三萬元奬學金遠赴南澳洲大學參加為期一年的交換計劃。本院同仁謹致賀忱!

 

UC student wins Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Scholarship

Ms Chan Hiu Yee, a second year Journalism and Communication student of United College, is one of the winners of this year’s Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Scholarship. Ms Chan has been awarded HK $30,000 in support of her one year exchange programme at the University of South Australia. Our heartiest congratulations to Ms Chan!

 

第六十一期《聯合校刊》徵稿

 《聯合校刊》乃書院每年出版一次之重要刊物。《聯合校刊》除記載書院名錄、學生生活及當年大事外,亦刊登員生著作,以豐富內容及提高趣味性。二零零四至二零零五年度 (第六十一期)《聯合校刊》 編輯委員會現向各教職員、同學及校友徵稿,來稿可以中文或英文撰寫,題材及類別不限,字數約二千至二千五百字為合。

Articles wanted for the 61st UNITED BULLETIN

 The United Bulletin is an annual publication of the College. Apart from being an official chronicle of College personale, student and staff activities and major College events, it also includes outstanding literary and academic work of staff and students of the College. The College Publication Committee is now inviting contributions to the 61st issue of the United Bulletin (2004-2005) from staff, student and alumni of the College. Articles should be of 2000 - 2500 words in length, either in English or Chinese. There is no restriction on the format of the article.
