聯合書院四十九周年院慶典禮 書院四十九周年院慶典禮訂於十月二十一日上午十一時卅分假大學邵逸夫堂舉行。書院校董會主席岑才生先生及香港中文大學法律學院執行委員會主席楊鐵樑爵士將擔任主禮嘉賓，並致勉辭及頒授書院獎學金。 典禮後，書院隨即於聯合校園舉行院慶生日會，書院教職員聯誼會將送出生日大蛋糕致賀。生日會後，書院即於張祝珊師生康樂大樓頂樓文怡閣舉行院慶午餐。為慶祝書院院慶，書院學生會亦籌備了一連串的慶祝活動，節目內容將於稍後公佈。 院慶為書院一年一度之盛事，歡迎各同仁踴躍出席各項活動。如有查詢，請致電2609 8655與學生輔導處周鍾寶華女士聯絡。

49th Anniversary Ceremony The 49th Anniversary Ceremony of United College will be held on Friday, 21 October 2005 at 11:30am at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. Mr Shum Choi Sang, SBS, JP, Chairman of the United College Board of Trustees and Dr the Honourable Sir T L Yang, GBM, JP, Chairman of the Executive Committee of The School of Law, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, will officiate at the Ceremony and present College scholarships. Immediately after the ceremony, there will be a birthday party on the College campus. The College Staff Association will donate a birthday cake for the occasion. The day’s highlight will be the Anniversary Luncheon at the College Staff Common Room at 1:15pm. The College Student Union also organizes a series of activities to celebrate the occasion, details will be announced soon. 聯合書院五十周年院慶標誌設計比賽 聯合書院將於二零零六年慶祝創院五十周年紀念，為慶祝此盛事，書院將舉辦連串大型活動，率先進行的是為五十周年標誌設計比賽。所有書院教職員、學生及校友均可參加，適當的獲獎設計將使用於所有與金禧活動的宣傳及印刷品上。有關詳情及下載參加表格，請瀏覽比賽網頁www.cuhk.edu.hk/uc/50logo. 參加者請將設計作品連同參加表格於二零零五年十月二十一日或以前，電郵uc50logo@cuhk.edu.hk。比賽結果將於二零零五年十一月底前公布。每位參加者最多可提交三個設計。 查詢請與書院學生輔導處林偉源先生或彭詠芯女士聯絡，電話2609 7562。

United College 50th Anniversary Logo Design Competition As the first event to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of United College in 2006/2007, a logo design competition will be organized. Eligible participants include alumni, staff and students of United College. Suitable winning design may be used in publications and promotion of the 50th Anniversary. Please browse the competition homepage and download application form at www.cuhk.edu.hk/uc/50logo. Participants should send in their submissions together with the completed application forms via email at uc50logo@cuhk.edu.hk on or before Friday, 21 October 2005. Results will be announced in late November 2005. Each participant may submit no more than three entries.
