Whole Person Development Award Programme

The Whole Person Development Award Programme has been renewed in the College's 50th Anniversary Year, and the programme now covers all undergraduate years instead of one academic year.  The programme aims at encouraging the College students to participate actively and systematically in their pursuit of whole person development through participation and involvement in academic as well as non-formal educational activities. Participants are expected to join or organize activities grouped under the five core areas, which include Ethical, Intellectual, Physical, Social and Aesthetic.  Scores will be assigned to various activities under these areas, and participants will be given awards if they could score 30 points or more before graduation or 20 points in one academic year.  A quota of 500 has been set and students can browse the program details and register via the programme homepage (www.cuhk.edu.hk/uc/wholeperson) from 13 to 23 September 2006.  A briefing session will be held on Tuesday, 19 September 2006 at 6:30 pm at UCC1, T C Cheng Building.  For enquiries, please contact Mr. George Lam of the Dean of Students' Office at 2609 7598.
