金禧海外校友回歸團
適逢聯合書院慶祝五十周年金禧，書院特別邀請定居海外聯合校友回港一同參與金禧院慶盛會，一同見證母校邁向新里程，並已於二零零六年十一月二十八日至十二月六日為海外校友安排一連串的特備節目。是次合共三十五位聯合書院海外校友及家人一同參加是次盛會。
首先，書院院長馮國培教授於十一月二十八日假張祝珊師生康樂中心頂樓文怡閣筵開四席歡迎宴，隨後，海外校友參觀了聯合書院最現代化的設施，了解書院最新的發展。書院更邀得本院地理與資源管理學系暨香港中文大學太空與地球信息科學研究所所長林琿教授帶領海外校友參觀中大的衛星遙感地面接收站。
接著，書院及校友會於十一月三十日一同籌辦了香港一日遊活動，特別安排帶領海外校友返回聯合書院位於普慶坊、般咸道及堅巷的舊校址，緬懷過去難忘的校園生活。海外校友亦參觀了香港中文大學校友會聯會張煊昌幼稚園、張煊昌小學、張煊昌中學及陳震夏中學。海外校友均對中大校友會聯會所辦的學校留下非常難忘的印象。
一眾海外校友亦熱烈參加了聯合書院薜壽生院長講座系列及聯合書院五十周年餐舞會。最後，書院及校友會更藉機舉辦了中國雲南麗江四天遊，合共十七位本地及海外校友參加，暢遊昆明及麗江，盡興而回。
香港中文大學美東聯合校友會慷慨捐贈書院美金八千元，成立書院獎學金，惠及聯合書院的莘莘學子。書院謹向香港中文大學美東聯合校友會致謝。

Golden Jubilee Overseas Alumni Tour
To celebrate Golden Jubilee of United College, United College invited the overseas alumni to come back to Hong Kong and joined our grand celebrations. The College prepared a series of programmes for them from 28 November 2006 to 6 December 2006. 35 alumni and their families joined this overseas alumni tour.
Professor Fung Kwok Pui, College Head hosted a welcome lunch on 28 November 2006 at United College Staff Common Room, Top Floor, Cheung Chuk Shan Amenities Centre. After lunch, overseas alumni toured around United College campus and shared the information on the updated development of the college. The College also invited Professor Lin Hui from Department of Geography and Resource Management and Director of Institute of Space and Earth Information Science, CUHK, led our overseas alumni to visit the Satellite Remote Sensing Ground Receiving Station.
The College and Alumni Association jointly organized a Hong Kong One-day Tour for overseas alumni on 30 November 2006. They visited old campuses of United College, at Po Hing Fong, Bonham Road and Caine Lane, remembering their good old days and fond memories of college life. Then the alumni visited CUHK FAA Thomas Cheung Kindergarten, Primary School and Secondary School as well as CUHK FAA Chan Chun Ha Secondary School.
Overseas alumni also actively participated in Golden Jubilee Activities such as Head of College Lecture Series – Dr S S Hsueh Lecture and the United College 50th Anniversary Banquet. Finally, the College and Alumni Association also organized a 4-day Tour to Lijiang and Kunming, PRC from 3 to 6 December 2006. Altogether 17 local and overseas alumni joined the tour.
CUHK United College Alumni Association of Greater New York donated US$8,000 to United College for setting up scholarship for United College students. The College would like to convey our deepest thanks to CUHK United College Alumni Association of Greater New York.
