聯合書院新修訂辦公時間

 

大學將於二零零七年一月一日起實施五天工作周，聯合書院轄下各辦公室及設施之辦公時間將修訂如下：

 

院務室及學生輔導處

星期一至星期四　上午八時四十五分至下午五時三十分   (不設午膳時間)

To compile with the University’s implementation of 5-day operation week, the opening hours of United College offices will be rescheduled from 1 January 2007:

無吸煙校園

　

根據香港《吸煙(公眾衛生)(修訂)條例》(第371章)規定，由二零零七年一月一日起，香港中文大學校園(包括室內及室外地方)將嚴禁吸煙，敬請留意。違例者將(一)按照有關法例被處罰;(二)被暫停或完全終止使用部份或全部有關設施的權利;(三)依照大學規定的程序，接受紀律處分。務請各同仁留意及遵守有關新法例的規定。

  

　

Smoke-free Campus

　

Under the Smoking (Public Health) (Amendment) Ordinance (Cap.371), the entire campus of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, including all indoor and outdoor areas, will be designated as no-smoking area with effect from 1 January 2007. Any person found smoking on campus, may i) result in penalties and/or fines prescribed by law; ii) have his/her rights and privileges in the use of pertinent facilities cancelled wholly or in part or have these suspended for a specified period of time and iii) be liable to disciplinary action by the University in accordance with the established procedures. Please be reminded to comply with the new legislation.

  

明德新民：聯合書院先賢書畫展

 

「明德新民：聯合書院先賢書畫展」將於二零零七年三月至五月期間於大學圖書館展覽廰及胡忠多媒體圖書館舉行。聯合書院名師輩出，在國學及藝術方面成就超卓。是次展覽包括多位聯合書院先賢之書畫墨寶，如馮康候、陳湛銓、蘇文擢、羅時憲、呂燦銘、李研山、李撫虹、司徒奇、李棪等，實在不容錯過。有關詳情請瀏覽書院五十周年網頁：http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/uc/uc50。如有查詢，請致電2609 7345 或電郵至

Enlightening Virtues, Renewing Man: An Exhibition of Paintings and Calligraphy by Distinguished Scholars of United College

 

The exhibition titled “Enlightening Virtues, Renewing Man: An Exhibition of Paintings and Calligraphy by Distinguished Scholars of United College” will be held from March 2007 to May 2007, at the University Library Exhibition Gallery and Wu Chung Multimedia Library. The exhibition including works from well-known scholars like Fung Hong Hou, Chan Cham Chuen, So Man–jock, Luo Shixian, Lu Canming, Li Yanshan, Li Fuhong, Situ Qi , Li Yan etc. For details please visit United College 50th Anniversary website: http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/uc/uc50. 書院行政人員新職稱

 

書院常務委員會於二零零六年十一月二十日之第十四次會議通過聯合書院部份行政人員之職稱，以反映書院之最新發展及各行政人員之實際職務 。該等職稱亦即時生效 。

 

輔導主任的職稱更改為輔導長，而其他的更改總結如下：

Functional Titles of Administrative Staff of United College

 

The Cabinet of United College, has at its 14th Meeting held on 20 November 2006, approved that functional titles be given to the officers of United College with immediate effect to reflect the holistic job nature as well as the development of the college.

 

The Chinese title of the Dean of Students was renamed as “輔導長”. The functional titles to officers of United College are summarized as appended:

由書院學生會主辦的「院長夜話」將於二零零七年一月二十四日(星期三)晚上九時三十分假恒生樓三樓學生休息室舉行，歡迎全體聯合師生出席。

  

Head's Night Talk

　

The Head’s Night Talk hosted by the College Student Union will be held on Wednesday, 24 January 2007 at the Common Room, 3/F, Hang Seng Hall at 9:30pm.  All College staff and students are welcome to attend.

 一年一度，由書院學生會聯同六舍堂合辦的「校長夜話」將於二零零七年一月二十九日(星期一)晚上八時三十分至十時假陳震夏宿舍十樓大堂舉行。歡迎全體聯合師生出席，與劉遵校長暢談大學和書院的新近發展及事務。

 

Vice-Chancellor's Night Talk

 

The Vice-Chancellor’s Night Talk jointly organized by the College Student Union and the six residential and non-residential halls will be held on Monday, 29 January 2007 at the Common Room, 10/F, Chan Chun Ha Hostel from 8:30pm to 10:00pm.  All College staff and students are welcome to meet Professor Lawrence J. Lau and discuss matters related the University and Colleges’ latest development.
