聯合校友獲頒二零零七年諾貝爾和平獎
美國前副總統高爾與聯合國跨政府氣候變遷小組（IPCC）共同獲得二零零七年諾貝爾和平獎，聯合校友普林斯頓大學劉雅章教授（74/物理）為該小組成員之一，參與撰寫有關氣候變遷的研究報告。
聯合國跨政府氣候變遷小組於一九八八年成立，致力提倡有關氣候變遷的政策建議。小組包括二千位科學家及過百個國家的官員。此項榮譽大大鼓勵科學家繼續致力氣候變遷的研究。

UC Alumnus shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize
The former Vice President of United States Government, Al Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. United College alumnus, Professor Lau Ngar Cheung Gabriel (74/Physics) was a contributing author of the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report, which was released earlier this year. This report has laid out the state-of-the-art knowledge of the physical basis of global climate change.
The group, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Chang (IPCC), was created in 1988 to provide objective policy advice about climate change as more people became concerned about the issue. It includes more than 2,000 scientists and officials from more than 100 countries. The Peace Prize is a tremendous boast to the morale of the scientific community engaged in climate research.

聯合校友獲「文物保護與公共空間規劃」比賽最佳設計大獎
本院校友建築系碩士生吳錦勝先生同隊友憑着重新規劃澳門白鴿巢前地一帶的美化方案，勇奪當地文物保護比賽的最佳設計大獎，澳門政府更考慮落實他們的建議書。

UC Alumnus won Best Design Award in Summer Heritage Workshop
UC Alumnus, Mr Ng Kam Shing Oskar, master student of Department of Architecture, CUHK, and his teammates, won the Best Design Award in the Summer Heritage Workshop with the theme “Integrating Heritage: Public Spaces” with their proposal on the Camoes Square. This proposal was submitted to the Cultural Affairs Office of Macau for further consideration.

聯合校友於第十七屆全港詩詞創作比賽獲獎
聯合校友二零零七年翻譯系黃令時先生於第十七屆全港詩詞創作比賽獲得學生組冠軍。本院同仁謹致賀忱!

UC Alumnus won 17th Hong Kong Chinese Poem Writing Competition
UC Alumnus, Mr Wong Ling Sze (TRA/2007) won the Champion the 17th Hong Kong Chinese Poem Writing Competition.

二零零七年聯合書院校友日
二零零七年聯合書院校友日已於二零零七年十月二十七日（星期六）於聯合書院校園舉行。是次書院舉行一年一度的校友日，目的除了讓聯合校友一同慶祝書院五十一周年院慶外，書院亦希望誠邀歷屆聯合校友及家人回到母校共聚，互聚情誼，了解母校最新發展情況，加強校友與母校的聯繫。
當日超過八十位校友及家人一同參與校友日。書院院長馮國培教授及校友會會長張煊昌博士於歡迎會上致辭，校友並續於思源文娛中心享用下午茶及參加書院生日會。隨後，校友於張煊昌體育館使用最新的運動設施及參觀校友徑，小朋友和父母們更一同參加親子曲奇餅工作坊的親子活動，共度一個歡愉的下午。
UC Alumni Day 2007
The UC Alumni Day 2007 was organized on 27 October 2007. The College invited all alumni to this annual reunion gathering to celebrate the College's 51st Anniversary with staff and students. Alumni were given an update on the latest developments of the College. The annual event was enthusiastically supported by alumni and greatly strengthened their association with the College.
Over 80 alumni and their family members participated in the gathering. Professor Fung Kwok Pui, Head of United College and Dr Thomas H C Cheung, President of United College Alumni Association, addressed the assembly in the Welcoming Party. Then, they enjoyed a buffet at the Si Yuan Amenities Centre. Alumni and their children joined the Cookie Baking Workshop, toured around the Alumni Trail, as well as joined various sports activities at the Thomas Cheung Gymnasium. A full day of fun and laughter concluded at around 6:00pm.
畢業五十年及二十五年紀念校友院慶聚餐
適逢聯合書院慶祝五十一周年院慶，書院已於二零零七年十月二十七日校友日晚上假張祝珊師生康樂中心頂樓文怡閣舉行校友聚餐，特別邀請畢業五十載或以上（包括聯合書院成立前五間成員書院畢業校友)，及畢業二十五周年的聯合校友參加。當晚合共五十位一九五七年畢業及一九八二年畢業的校友參加這次溫馨的聚會，與同屆的聯合同學於母校敘舊一番。
Reunion Dinner for Alumni Graduated for 50 Years and 25 Years
To celebrate the 51st Anniversary of United College, the College organized a Reunion Dinner for Alumni who graduated for 50 years and 25 years on 27 October 2007 at United College Staff Common Room, Top Floor, Cheung Chuk Shan Amenities Centre. 50 alumni graduated on 1957 and 1982 joined the dinner and spent a warm reunion evening at United College.
