署理院長任命

院長馮國培教授將於二零零七年十二月十七日至十八日訪問浙江大學，由地理與資源管理學系林健枝教授出任署理院長。

Appointment of Acting Head

Professor Fung Kwok Pui, College Head will visit Zhejiang University from 17 - 18 December 2007. Professor Lam Kin Che, Department of Geography and Resource Management, will be the Acting Head during the above period.

署理書院輔導長任命

書院輔導長王香生教授將於二零零七年十二月十四日至十六日前往廣州華南師範大學出席第六屆華人運動生理與體適能學者學會年會擔任講者， 以及十八日至二十一日應邀到日本北海道教育大學作訪問學人，由生物系朱利民教授出任署理輔導長。

Appointment of Acting Dean

Professor Stephen H S Wong, Dean of Students will deliver a speech at the Annual Conference of the Society of Chinese Scholars on Exercise Physiology and Fitness held in South China Normal University, Guangzhou from 14 to 16 December 2007 and will be Visiting Scholar of the Hokkaido University of Education in Japan from 18 to 21 December 2007. Professor Chu Lee Man, Department of  Biology, will be the Acting Dean of Students during the above period.

甘肅、青海高校校級領導及高級行政人員高校管理研討會

由香港十一所高校聯辦、中央人民政府駐香港特別行政區聯絡辦公室協辦，並獲國家教育部支持的「甘肅、青海高校校級領導及高級行政人員高校管理研討會」於二零零七年十一月二十六至三十日在香港各所高校舉行。

香港中文大學副校長鄭振耀教授、中大人事處副處長阮健驄先生、聯合書院院長馮國培教授、院務主任李雷寶玲女士與二十五位兩省高校領導及行政人員於十一月二十六日在中大會晤，又向研討會人員介紹人力資源管理及中大書院制情況。與會者其後參觀了聯合書院，以了解中大及書院的最新發展。

Higher Education Forum for Universities in Gansu, Qinghai

With the support of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong SAR and The Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, 11 Hong Kong Universities jointly organized the "Higher Education Forum for Universities in Gansu, Qinghai" on 26 - 30 November 2007.

Professor Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Mr Yuen Kin Chung, Deputy Director of Personnel, Professor Fung Kwok Pui, Head of United College and Mrs Christina Li, College Secretary of United College, introduced human resources management in CUHK and college system to the administrators on 26 November 2007. The participants then visited United College to have a deeper understanding of CUHK and the College's latest development.
