二零零七年度校長盃及教職員家庭同樂日
校長盃及教職員家庭同樂日已於二零零七年十一月廿五日在大學體育中心舉行。本院教職員足球隊及羽毛球隊於決賽日分別勇奪首個校長盃冠軍及季軍殊榮。
書院員生同時於校長盃教職員家庭同樂日擺設攤位，場面熱鬧。

The 2007 VC's Cup and Fun Fair
The 2007 VC's Cup and Fun Fair took place on 25 November 2007 at the University Sports Centre. UC Football Team and Badminton Team won the first ever Championship and 2nd runner up title respectively.
Through the collaborative effort of our staff and students, a game booth was set up at the VC's Cup Fun Fair and attracted a large number of participants.
The UC Sports Teams competing in the 2007 VC's Cup is listed in Attachment 1.

College Member, Professor Hui Shu Cheong David from Department of Medicine and Therapeutics has been promoted as Professor 1 with effective from 1 August 2007.

二零零八至二零零九年度「到訪傑出學人」計劃再度接受報名
由書院基金會贊助的「到訪傑出學人」計劃每年邀請國際知名學者到訪書院，進行為期兩周的學術交流活動。贊助項目包括到訪傑出學人及其隨行配偶的商務客位來回機票、食宿費及酬金港幣二萬元。至於訪問活動則由「到訪傑出學人」委員會及提名人共同商訂，一般包括兩次公開講座及與書院師生的學術交流活動。
二零零八至二零零九年度「到訪傑出學人」計劃現再次公開接受各學系同人提名。提名人須填妥報名表格，連同被提名學人的履歷交所屬系主任加簽，於二零零八年一月十五日或以前送達「到訪傑出學人」委員會秘書林偉源先生，查詢或索取提名表格請電2609 7598與林先生聯絡。
Nominations for the 2008/2009 Distinguished Visiting Scholar Reopened
Nominations are now invited from academic staff of United College for the 2008/2009 Distinguished Visiting Scholar (DVS). The nominees should be internationally renowned scholars in any field of study. The DVS Scheme is sponsored by the College's Endowment Fund and offers a $20,000 honorarium for the invited scholar plus round-trip business class airfares and accommodation for the scholar and the accompanying spouse. The detailed programme for the visit will be designed by the DVS Committee in consultation with the nominator. The invited scholar is expected to deliver two public lectures and take part in exchange activities with the staff and students of the College.
For further information or nomination forms, please feel free to contact Mr George Lam, Secretary of the DVS Committee at 2609 7598. The nominations, together with the nominee's full curricula vitae, should be endorsed by the Chairpersons of the respective departments and addressed to Mr George Lam. Nominations will close on 15 January 2008.
本院成員獲二零零六至零七年度員工優異服務獎
本院陳震夏宿舍工友鄭煥生先生榮獲二零零六至零七年度員工優異服務獎，頒獎典禮於二零零七年十二月十四日舉行。鄭先生已於二零零七年七月三十一日榮休。
另服務於中大校友事務處的書院校友許寶寶女士(94/政政)亦同時取得此項殊榮。

College Members was awarded the Exemplary Service Award 2006-07
Mr Cheng Woon Sang, Junior Staff of Chan Chun Ha Hostel, was awarded the Exemplary Service Award 2006-07 at the Presentation Ceremony held on 14 December 2007. Mr Cheng has retired from service since 31 July 2007.
Furthermore, UC alumna, Ms Eleanor Hui (94/GPA) who works in Alumni Affairs Office, CUHK won the same award this year.

聖誕聯歡會
教職員聯誼會已於十二月十四日(星期五)正午十二時在書院文怡閣舉行。聯歡會設多項遊戲及抽獎節目，並備有火雞及多款應節美食，以饗會員。
二零零八年檯曆
教職員聯誼會二零零八年檯曆芯已印備，各會員可由即日起親臨曾肇添樓書院學生輔導處領取，先到先得，送完即止。

Christmas Party
UC Staff Association Christmas Party was held on Friday, 14 December 2007 at 12:00noon at the College Staff Common Room. There were fabulous Christmas cuisines and gifts for members, not to mention the grand lucky draw with many great prizes.
Year 2008 Desk Calendar
The Staff Association's Year 2008 desk calendar refills are available for members' collection from the College's Dean of Students' Office, Tsang Shiu Tim Building on a first-come-first-served basis.
