書院二零零八年畢業晚宴
由書院二零零五級社「聯樂社」籌辦的二零零八畢業晚宴定於本年五月十三日晩上假紅磡都會海逸酒店七樓海景餐廳舉行，讓應屆畢業同學能夠在離開校園之前再次聚首一堂。晚宴餐費分別為三百元(嘉賓及校友)及一百二十元(學生)。有興趣參加者請致電2609 8655、6179 8788或9873 0806與書院學生輔導處高級書院發展主任周鍾寶華女士、零五年級社代表羅永森同學或陳靜恩同學聯絡。
2008 United College Graduation Dinner
The 2005 Class Society of United College is going to organize a Graduation Dinner for the 2008 graduates on 13 May 2008 at Lower Patio, level 7, Harbour Plaza Metropolis Hotel, Hung Hom. The Dinner fee is $300 (Guest/Alumni) and $120 (Students). 二零零七至二零零八年度全年最佳學生團體獎
書院為鼓勵學生團體積極服務同學，每年特設「全年最佳學生團體獎」。本年度的獲獎團體是在由書院學生會聯席會議上經學生代表推選產生，結果由聯合書院獨立電影學會奪得，獎金為港幣一萬元。獎項安排於四月二日舉行的書院聚會中頒發，書院謹致衷心祝賀。
The Best Student Organization of the Year Award in 2007-2008
Aim at encouraging student bodies to improve their delivery of services to its members and fellow students, the College established The Best Student Organization of the Year Award.
At the Student Union joint meeting, the
student representatives nominated the United College Independent Movie Society
to be the award winner for 2007-08 and the award will carry a cash prize of
HK$10,000. The Independent Movie Society received this award in the College
Assembly held on 2 April. Our heartfelt congratulations to Independent Movie
Society!
聯合同學榮獲美國名校全費獎學金
本院數學系四年級孫慧同學及吳弢同學分別獲著名大學美國加州大學洛杉磯分校及北卡羅來納大學全費獎學金，修讀研究院課程。
本院同仁謹致賀忱！
UC Students Received Full Scholarships from Top Universities
Mr Sun Hui and Mr Wu Tao, Year-4 students of the College in Mathematics, received full scholarships from University of California, Los Angeles and University of North Carolina, USA respectively for their further studies.

本年度書院學生宿舍暑期住宿已開始接受申請。有關詳情及申請辦法，請參閱書院學生輔導處佈告板或往書院學生輔導處查詢。截止申請日期為二零零八年四月二十一日。
Applications for Summer Residence
Applications for this year's summer residence in UC student hostels are now open. For further details, please refer to the College notice boards or approach the Dean of Students' Office. Applications close on 21 April 2008.
二零零八至零九年度學生校園培訓及服務獎勵計劃
二零零八至零九年度(7/2008 – 6/2009)書院學生校園培訓及服務獎勵計劃第一輪撥款將接受申請。該計劃旨在協助學生獲得經濟奬勵及工作經驗。書院學生輔導處將於五月十六日寄發申請資料予本院教職員。如有查詢，請致電2696 1947或2609 8657與學生輔導處溫嘉蕙女士或陳鄧翠怡女士查詢。截止申請日期為二零零八年五月三十一日，結果將於六月底前知會各申請人。
Student Campus Training and Service Award Scheme for 2008/09
Applications are now invited for the first-round allocation of the UC Student Campus Training and Service Award Scheme for 2008/09 (7/2008 – 6/2009). The Scheme aims to provide financial award to UC students and to help them gain some working experiences. Application materials will be dispatched to College members on 16 May 2008. For further information please contact Ms Wan Ka Wai or Mrs Eastre Chan of the Dean of Students' Office at 2696 1947or 2609 8657. Completed application forms should be submitted by 31 May 2008.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications by the end of June 2008.
書院德育活動宣傳品設計比賽
聯合書院學生身心健康工作小組為籌備於二零零八至二零零九學年推廣德育活動，特舉辦宣傳品設計比賽。比賽分書籤模版、貼紙模版及吉祥物象徵性標記三個組別。書院將會以得獎作品製作德育宣傳品，於二零零八至二零零九學年派發予書院學生。所有書院教職員、學生及校友均可參加，有關詳情及下載參加表格，請瀏覽比賽網頁www.cuhk.edu.hk/uc/moraldesign。參加者請將設計作品連同參加表格於二零零八年五月三十日或以前，電郵至ucmoraldesign@cuhk.edu.hk。查詢請致電2609 7570與書院學生輔導處何惠芬女士或林偉源先生聯絡。
UC Design Competition for Moral Education Promotions
To prepare for the value education activities in 2008-09, the Taskforce on Students' Well-being will organize a design competition on promotion materials for moral education. The competition consisted of three categories, namely, bookmark template, sticker template and mascot or symbolic image. The winning designs will be used to produce the promotional materials for distribution to students in the academic year of 2008-09. Eligible participants include all College alumni, affiliated staff and students. Please browse the competition homepage and download application form at www.cuhk.edu.hk/uc/moraldesign. Participants have to send in their submissions together with the application forms via email at ucmoraldesign@cuhk.edu.hk on or before Friday, 30 May 2008. 考試期間送贈生果
書院學生飯堂於考試期間(二零零八年四月二十四日至五月十日)，送贈新鮮生果給同學，為同學打氣，費用悉數由書院資助。
Fresh Fruit for UC Students
Sponsored by the College, the College Student Canteen will supply free fresh fruit to students during the examination period form 24 April to 10 May 2008.
書院儲物箱
由於學期即將完結，畢業班同學請盡快清理儲物箱內所有物件，並在二零零八年五月十六日前於辦公時間內，前往書院學生輔導處辦理交還儲物箱鎖匙及領回按金的手續。大學會計部將安排按金轉帳至各同學之銀行戶口。逾期仍不辦理者，本院將清理箱內物件及沒收按金。

Lockers at United College
All final year students holding lockers at UC are required to return the locker keys and complete the deposit refund process at the College Dean of Students' Office during office hours on or before 16 May 2008. Locker deposit will be credited to your bank account by the Bursary in due course. Failure to return the locker key after the above deadline will result in your deposit being forfeited and articles inside the locker removed and disposed of.
