本院校友出任運輸及房屋局副局長

聯合書院一九八二年生化系校友邱誠武先生於二零零八年五月二十日獲委任為運輸及房屋局副局長。

College Alumnus Appointed As the Under Secretary for Transport and Housing

College alumnus, Mr YAU Shing-mu, 1982 graduate in Biochemistry, has been appointed as the Under Secretary for Transport and Housing of HKSAR Government, announced by HKSAR Government on 20 May 2008.

本院校友獲牛津大學裘槎獎學金

本院二零零六年化學系蔡麗嫦校友獲首屆「牛津大學裘槎獎學金」，並將前往牛津大學深造。 「牛津大學裘槎獎學金」由裘槎基金會及英國牛津大學於今年三月成立，獎額達港幣一百二十萬，資助香港博士研究生前往牛津大學，從事有關自然科學、技術或醫學的學習和研究。

College Alumna Received the Oxford-Croucher Scholarship

College alumna, Ms CHOI Lai-sheung, 2006 graduates in Chemistry, have received full scholarship from the first-ever Oxford-Croucher Scholarship and would pursue doctoral studies at Oxford University. 

In March 2008,The Croucher Foundation and the University of Oxford jointly established ''The University of Oxford Croucher Scholarships'', amounting to nearly HK$1.2 million, for postgraduate students in Hong Kong to study natural sciences, technology or medicine at the doctoral level at the University of Oxford.
