聯合書院五十二周年院慶典禮
書院五十二周年院慶典禮訂於10月17日(星期五)上午11時30分假大學邵逸夫堂舉行。書院校董會主席岑才生先生及香港特別行政區政府運輸及房屋局副局長邱誠武先生(82/生化)將擔任主禮嘉賓。
典禮後，書院隨即於聯合校園舉行院慶生日會，書院教職員聯誼會將送出大蛋糕致賀。生日會後，書院即於張祝珊師生康樂大樓頂樓文怡閣舉行院慶午餐。為慶祝書院院慶，書院學生會亦籌備了一連串的慶祝活動，節目內容將於稍後公佈。
院慶為書院一年一度之盛事，歡迎各同仁踴躍出席各項活動。如有查詢，請致電2609 8655與學生輔導處周鍾寶華女士聯絡。
United College 52nd Anniversary Ceremony
The 52nd Anniversary Ceremony of United College will be held on Friday, 17 October 2008 at 11:30 am at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall of the University. Mr Shum Choi-sang, SBS, JP, Chairman of the College Board of Trustees and Mr Yau Shing-mu (82/BCH), Under Secretary for Transport and Housing of the HKSAR Government will officiate at the Ceremony.
Immediately after the Ceremony, there will be a Birthday Party on the College campus. The College Staff Association will donate a birthday cake for the occasion. Following the Party will be the Anniversary Luncheon scheduled at 1:15 pm at the College Staff Common Room. The College Student Union will also organise a series of activities to celebrate the occasion. Details will be announced soon.

院務委員會投票選出張雙慶教授為大學教務會的聯合書院代表，任期由2008年8月1日至2010年7月31日。
News of the College Assembly of Fellows
The College Assembly of Fellows has re-elected Professor Chang Song-hing as representative of United College in the University Senate for a term of two years from 1 August 2008 to 31 July 2010.

本院校董暨校友譚偉豪博士(86/電子)及校友梁美芬教授(87/政政)於2008年9月7日立法會選舉中當選為新一屆立法會議員。

College Members elected as New Legislative Council Members
Dr Samson W H Tam, College Trustee and Alumnus (86/EEE), and Professor Leung Mei-fun, College Alumna (87/GPA) were elected as new Legislative Council Members in the Legislative Council Election on 7 September 2008.
