國際會議津貼計劃報告
在2008至09年書院國際會議津貼計劃第二輪撥款中，書院資助港幣四萬零一百四十元予十四位聯合教職員出席國際學術會議。
1) 矯形外科及創傷學系張戈博士教授於2008年8月28日至30日，出席在澳洲墨爾本舉行之第十八屆澳大利亞與新西蘭骨礦學會年會會議，並發表論文一篇。
2) 電子工程學系李丹教授於2008年9月22日至26日，出席在澳洲布里斯本舉行之國際語音通訊及技術年會會議，並發表論文一篇。
3) 中國語言文學系陳寧女士於2008年10月20日至24日，出席在台灣台北舉行之2008 創造力教育國際研討會，並發表論文一篇。
4) 體育運動科學系夏秀禎教授於2008年11月3日至6日，出席在馬來西亞雲頂高原舉行之第十二屆世界全民體育大會會議，並發表論文一篇。
5) 藥劑學院李詠恩教授於2008年11月8日至11日，出席在希臘雅典舉行之第十一屆藥物經濟暨效果研學會究歐洲年會會議，並發表論文一篇。
6) 生物系王保強教授於2008年11月9日至12日，出席在中國北京舉行之IWA ──化學工業2008國際會議，並發表論文一篇。
7) 化學病理學系鄧亮生教授於2008年11月11日至15日，出席在美國費城舉行之2008年第五十八屆美國人類遺傳學學會年會會議，並發表論文一篇。
8) 新聞與傳播學院Professor Saskia Witteborn於2008年11月20日至24日，出席在美國聖地牙哥舉行之2008 National Communication Association Convention會議，並發表論文一篇。
9) 中國語言文學系張雙慶教授於2008年11月23日至28日，出席在中國廈門舉行之(1) 漢字與漢語關係國際學術研討會 (2) 李如龍先氐從教五十周年學術研討會，並發表論文一篇。
10) 建築學系廖維武教授於2008年12月5日至7日，出席在新加坡舉行之2008年第五屆GASS:「未來-亞洲-空間」會議，並發表論文一篇。
11) 建築學系胡佩玲教授於2008年12月5日至7日，出席在新加坡舉行之2008年第五屆GASS:「未來-亞洲-空間」會議，並發表論文一篇。
12) 決策科學與企業經濟學系賴紹琼教授於2008年12月14日至17日，出席在法國巴黎舉行之信息系统國際會議，並發表論文一篇。
13) 公共衛生學院陳英凝教授於2009年2月4日至7日，出席在荷蘭格羅寧根舉行之世界人道應變研究會議，並發表論文一篇。
14) 生物化學系曾淑瑩教授於2009年2月11日至13日，出席在新加坡舉行之幹細胞裏的調控網絡會議，並發表論文一篇。

Report on College International Conference Grant Scheme
In the 2nd round allocation of the International Conference Grant, the College granted $40,140 to subsidise 14 staff to attend international conferences.
1) Dr Zhang Ge from Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology was invited to attend and present a paper at the 18th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian & New Zealand Bon and Mineral Society held in Melbourne, Australia from 28 to 30 August 2008.
2) Professor Lee Tan from Department of Electronic Engineering was invited to attend and present a paper at the Interspeech 2008 held in Brisbane, Australia from 22 to 26 September 2008.
3) Ms Chan Ning from Department of Chinese Language and Literature was invited to attend and present a paper at the 2008 International Conference on Creativity Education held in Taipei, Taiwan from 20 to 24 October 2008.
4) Professor Amy S C Ha from Department of Sports Science & Physical Education was invited to attend and present a paper at the 12th World Sport for All Congress held in Genting Highlands, Malaysia from 3 to 6 November 2008.
5) Professor Vivian W Y Lee from School of Pharmacy was invited to attend and present a paper at the ISPOR 11th Annual European Congress held in Athens, Greece from 8 to 11 November 2008.
6) Professor Wong Po-keung from Department of Biology was invited to attend and present a paper at the IWA-Chemical Industries 2008 held in Beijing, China from 9 to 12 November 2008.
7) Professor Nelson L S Tang from Department of Chemical Pathology was invited to attend and present a paper at the American Society of Human Genetics 58th Annual Conference 2008 held in Philadelphia, USA from 11 to 15 November 2008.
8) Professor Saskia Witteborn from School of Journalism and Communication was invited to attend and present a paper at the National Communication Association held in San Diego, USA from 20 to 24 November 2008.
9) Professor Chang Song-hing from Department of Chinese Language and Literature was invited to attend and present a paper at the (1) 漢字與漢語關係國際學術研討會 (2) 李如龍先氐從教五十周年學術研討會 held in Xiamen, China from 23 to 28 November 2008.
10) Professor Laurence W W Liauw from Department of Architecture was invited to attend and present a paper at the 5th GASS 2008: "FUTURE-ASIAN-SPACE" held in Singapore from 5 to 7 December 2008.
11) Professor Woo Pui-leng from Department of Architecture was invited to attend and present a paper at the 5th GASS 2008: "FUTURE-ASIAN-SPACE" held in Singapore from 5 to 7 December 2008.
12) Professor Lai Siu-king from Department of Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics was invited to attend and present a paper at the International Conference on Information Systems held in Paris, France from 14 to17 December 2008.
13) Professor Emily Y Y Chan from School of Public Health was invited to attend and present a paper at the Would Conference of Humanitarian Studies 2009 held in Groningen, the Netherlands from 4 to 7 February 2009.
14) Professor Tsang Suk-ying from Department of Biochemistry was invited to attend and present a paper at the Regulatory Networks in Stem Cells held in Singapore from 11 to 13 February 2009.
