本院校友東區醫院兒科何慶彤醫生(87/醫學)於2009年5月24日，在西貢甕缸灣潛水時意外身亡。本院同仁深表哀悼及向其家人致以深切慰問。

Obituary

College alumnus, Dr Ho Hing-tung (87/MED) who worked in Department of Paediatrics, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, died when he dived in Sai Kung on 24 May 2009.

Members of the College are saddened by the news and express the deepest condolences to Dr Hos' family.

聯合校友獲大學委任為講座教授

聯合校友陳偉儀教授（74/化學）獲大學委任為生物醫學學院生物醫學講座教授，由2009年6月1日起生效。陳校友並出任新成立的生物醫學學院院長。

UC Alumnus was appointed as Professor of Biomedical Sciences by CUHK

UC alumnus, Professor Chan Wai-yee (74/CHM) has been appointed Professor of Biomedical Sciences, School of Biomedical Sciences with effect from 1 June 2009. He is also appointed as Director of the newly-established School of Biomedical Sciences.

本院校友劉偉光先生(88/政政)被委任為書院榮譽法律顧問，任期兩年，由2009年7月1日起生效。

UC alumnus, Mr Joseph W K Lau (88/GPA), has been appointed as Honorary Legal Advisor of United College for a term of two years, with effect from 1 July 2009.
