Call for Nominations for the 2011-2012 Distinguished Visiting
Scholar Nominations are now invited from academic staff of United College for the 2011-2012 Distinguished Visiting Scholar (DVS).nominees should be internationally renowned scholars in any field of study.DVS Scheme is sponsored by the College's Endowment Fund and offers a $20,000 honorarium for the invited scholar plus round-trip business class airfares and accommodation for the scholar.detailed programme for the visit will be designed by the DVS Committee in consultation with the nominator.invited scholar is expected to deliver two public lectures and take part in exchange activities with staff and students of the College. 訪問研究學人計劃 訪問研究學人台灣國立清華大學生命科學系黎耀基教授於2010年6月15日至9月14日期間蒞院訪問,與本院何鴻燊防治傳染病研究中心孔祥復教授進行學術研究。 訪問研究學人中國科學院水生生物研究所胡煒教授於2010年6月29日至9月28日期間蒞院訪問,與本院生物醫學學院鄭漢其教授進行學術研究。 |
Resident Fellow Scheme Professor Lai Yiu-kay, Resident Fellow from Department of Life Sciences, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan visited the College from 15 June to 14 September 2010 and conducted research with Professor Kung Hsiang-fu of Stanley Ho Centre for Emerging Infectious Diseases. Professor Hu Wei, Resident Fellow from the Institute of Hydrobiology, The Chinese Academy of Sciences visited the College from 29 June to 28 September 2010 and conducted research with Professor Christopher H K Cheng of School of Biomedical Sciences. |
