聯合書院教職員宿舍接受申請

聯合書院教職員宿舍一個兩房單位現正接受已婚的書院全職教職員申請。申請人及其配偶不可享有大學或其僱主提供之任何房屋福利。委員會將按申請人的工作需要及對聯合書院之貢獻批核申請。

有興趣申請的同事可從書院網頁http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/uc/forms/StfResApplication.doc下載申請表格。填妥的申請表格及證明文件必須以密件形式寄至本院助理院務主任李珮珊女士，截止申請日期為2010年11月30日。
　

United College Staff Residence Vacant Flat for Application

A two-room flat at the United College Staff Residence is vacant for eligible married full-time staff of United College to apply. Both the applicant and his/her spouse must not be entitled to housing benefits from the University or their respective employer. Applications will be assessed mainly based on the applicants' operational needs to work for and at United College as well as his/her contribution to the College.

Interested applicants may download the application form from the College's webpage at: http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/uc/forms/StfResApplication.doc. The completed application form, together with supporting documents, should reach Ms Sandy Lee, Assistant College Secretary, under confidential cover on or before 30 November 2010.
　

2010至2011年度聯合書院國際學術會議津貼計劃及訪問研究學人計劃

本院現已公開接受2010至2011年度書院國際學術會議津貼計劃及訪問研究學人計劃第一輪申請，截止申請日期為2010年11月30日。申請結果將於12月底公佈。歡迎本院教員於本院網頁http://www2.cuhk.edu.hk/uc/cht/application_results/application_detail.php?id=938 下載計劃詳情及申請表格。成功獲資助的教員須於出席國際學術會議後或與訪問學人合作研究後向本院文化交流及研究委員會提交報告。查詢請致電2609 8654或2609 7580與本院陸敏兒女士或鄭佩純女士聯絡。
　

United College International Conference Grant Scheme and Resident Fellow Scheme 2010-2011

The second round of application for the College International Conference Grant Scheme and Resident Fellow Scheme 2010-2011 is now open for application. The closing date will be 30 November 2010. The outcome will be announced by late December. 聯合書院學術研討會贊助計劃

 本院現已公開接受2010至2011年度書院學術研討會贊助計劃申請，截止申請日期為2010年11月30日。本計劃旨於透過資助各學院及單位的書院教職員主辦學術研討會，提高教職員及學生學術科研交流，鼓勵推動院內學術研討的風氣。

United College Conference Sponsorship Scheme

United College Conference Sponsorship Scheme 2010-2011 is now open for submission. The closing date will be 30 November 2010.The main purpose of the Scheme is to promote academic exchange activities benefiting students and staff and, through provision of financial support and sponsorship, encourage colleagues of United College and the University to take the initiative in planning and organizing academic conferences.

書院教職員聯誼會——海上一日遊 (印洲塘海岸公園:鴨洲、吉澳島、荔枝窩)

由書院教職員聯誼會舉辦的海上一日遊活動已於2010年10月30日完成，共有四十六位聯合書院教職員及家屬出席。是次活動蒙地理及資源管理學系鄒桂昌教授及林建枝教授擔任榮譽領隊，沿途活潑生動地講解各種地貌、珍貴樹木及鄉村文化，引人入勝。


　

United College Staff Association - Day Trip on the Sea (Yan Chau Tong Marine Park: Ap Chau, Kat O Island, Lai Chi Wo)

A Day Trip on the Sea was organised by the United College Staff Association on 30 October 2010. The Trip was well attended by 46 staff members and their families. The Association was honored to have Professor Chau Kwai-cheong and Professor Lam Kin-che of the Department of Geography and Resource Management to be the honorary trip leaders. The lively and informative introduction given by the two professors along the trip enriched the knowledge of participants about the geology, invaluable trees and village culture of the place.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the United College Staff Association was held on 15 October 2010 at the College Staff Common Room. The AGM accepted the Annual Report and Audited Accounts of the Association presented by the 2009-10 Executive Committee and elected the following office-bearers to form the 2010-11 Executive Committee:

2)  Membership Fee

2010-11 membership fee for United College Staff Association will be deducted from members' salary in November 2010 .The fee is HK$150 each for members on Terms of Service A and HK$100 each for those on Terms of Service B. 2010至2011年度學生校園培訓及服務獎勵計劃

2010至2011年度(7/2010–5/2011)書院學生校園培訓及服務獎勵計劃第二輪撥款將接受申請。該計劃旨在協助學生獲得經濟奬勵及工作經驗。書院學生輔導處將於11月15日寄發申請資料予本院教職員。如有查詢，請致電2609 8657或2696 1948與學生輔導處陳鄧翠怡女士或郭玉華女士聯絡。截止申請日期為2010年11月30日，有關結果將於12月底前通知各申請人。

Student Campus Training and Service Award Scheme for 2010-2011

Applications will be invited for the second-round allocation of the UC Student Campus Training and Service Award Scheme for 2010-2011 (7/2010–5/2011). The Scheme aims to provide financial award to UC students and to help them gain some working experiences. Application materials will be dispatched to College members on 15 November 2010. For further information, please contact Mrs Eastre Chan or Ms Elky Kwok of the Dean of Students' Office at 2609 8657 or 2696 1948. Completed application forms should be submitted by 30 November 2010. Applicants will be notified of the application results by the end of December 2010.
