為增進同學與校友間的聯繫，由2005年起，書院與書院校友會合辦一系列的「聯合書院校友講座」，邀請在社會上各行各業有卓越成就的校友與在校的師弟師妹們分享他們在事業上、人生旅途上的各種經歷與體會。校友講座以高桌晚宴形式舉行，讓聯合同學在輕鬆的環境下與主講校友嘉賓交流認識。 校友講座的第十二講已於2011年11月8日晚上假聯合書院張祝珊師生康樂大樓三樓文怡閣舉行，書院邀請得1985年企管學系校友，一田百貨常務董事莊偉忠校友擔任主講嘉賓，以「快樂工作」為講題，與聯合同學分享他的人生體驗。 |
| Alumni Talk— 12th Talk |
From 2005, the College and the Alumni Association have jointly organised a series of alumni talks for students. Distinguished alumni from all walks of life are invited to share with fellow students on their career and life experiences. The Alumni Talk is organised in the format of high table dinner, providing students and alumni a relaxing atmosphere for learning and communication. The twelfth Alumni Talk was held on 8 November 2011 at the Staff Common Room, 3/F, Cheung Chuk Shan Amenities Building, United College. The College invited Mr Daniel W C Chong, Managing Director, YATA Limited (85/GBM) to share with UC students on the topic of "Tap Dance to Work". |
| 書院五十五周年院慶校友日 |
聯合書院五十五周年院慶校友日於2011年10月29日（星期六）下午於書院校園舉行，本年度校友日以「健康樂步行」為主題，逾二百五十位聯合書院校友扶老攜幼一同參加，共度一個愉快的下午。書院院長馮國培教授、校友會永遠榮譽會長張煊昌博士及校友會會長殷巧兒女士於本院學生飯堂舉行的校友日院慶生日會上致辭，校友隨後享用下午茶。 校友日當日活動節目豐富，包括： 1. 健康樂步行 路線一︰校友徑樹木遊，由香港中文大學樹木計劃召集人暨綠色生活教育小組聯絡人左治強先生及各樹木遊領隊帶領及講解，參加者亦沿途參觀校園設施，包括湯若望宿舍及胡忠多媒體圖書館。 路線二︰聯合書院水塔水塔步行籌款活動，聯合校友身體力行，以步行籌款的形式為書院募捐，參加者沿樓梯登上水塔，一窺水塔內裏乾坤，居高臨下飽覽書院及吐露港景色。 2. 兒童手工皂工作坊 由國際生舍堂榮譽舍監余黃燕萍女士主持工作坊。此活動與思源文娛中心管理委員會合辦。 3. 健康檢查 ＊ 本院副院長兼輔導長、中國香港體適能總會主席王香生教授贊助及帶領該會同事協助測試體適能測試 ＊ 本院成員兼校友公共衛生及基層醫療學院余素娟女士及本院成員公共衛生及基層醫療學院翁家俊先生帶領該系學生助手協助校友進行骨質疏鬆測試 ＊ 本院成員兼校友那打素護理學院周柏珍教授贊助及帶領專業護士協助校友進行檢查膽固醇及血糖測試 ＊ 本院陳震夏宿舍舍監、藥劑學院李詠恩教授帶領該系學生助手協助校友量度血壓，校友及家人更帶備日常服用的西藥讓藥劑學院的專業人員作即場檢視量度血壓及日常服用藥物檢視 |
| UC 55th Anniversary Alumni Day |
The UC 55th Anniversary Alumni Day was held on Saturday afternoon, 29 October 2011 on College campus. Under the theme of Healthy-Sprightly Fun Walk, over 250 alumni and their family members participated in the gathering. Professor Fung Kwok-pui, College Head, Dr Thomas H C Cheung, Permanent Emeritus President of UC Alumni Association, and Ms Lina H Y Yan, President of UC Alumni Association, addressed the assembly in the Welcoming Party. Then, the alumni enjoyed a college anniversary party and tea buffet at the Student Canteen. The College organised a series of activities for our alumni and their family, including: 1. Healthy-Sprightly Fun Walk Route 1- Mr George C K Jor, Convener of the CU Tree Project and Green Education Working Group and tree walk leaders led alumni to tour around the Alumni Trail and know more trees on College campus. Alumni also visited College facilities including Adam Schall Residence and Wu Chung Multimedia Library. Route 2 - College alumni walked up to the top of the water tower to raise fund for the College. They enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Tolo Harbour from the top of the water tower. 2. Kids’ Soap-making Workshop Mrs Joan Yu, Lady Warden of I-House conducted the workshop for alumni and their children. The workshop was jointly organised by the Si Yuan Amenities Centre Management Committee. 3. Health Check ＊ Physical Fitness Test, sponsored by Professor Stephen H S Wong, Associate College Head and Dean of Students, as well as Chairman, Physical Fitness Association of Hong Kong, China. ＊ College members, Ms Janice S K Yue and Mr Tony K C Yung, School of Public Health and Primary Care, led the school students to conduct the Osteoporosis Test for alumni. ＊ College member, Professor Janitor Chau, The Nethersole School of Nursing, sponsored and led professional nurses to conduct Cholesterol and Glucose Test for alumni. ＊ Warden of Chan Chun Ha Hostel, Professor Vivian W Y Lee, School of Pharmacy, led the school students to conduct the Blood Pressure Monitoring and Medication Review. |
| 畢業二十五年及畢業三十五年校友院慶聚餐 |
適逢聯合書院慶祝五十五周年院慶，書院已於2011年10月29日校友日晚上假聯合書院張祝珊師生康樂大樓一樓張煊昌體育館舉行校友聚餐，特別邀請畢業三十五年或以上（包括聯合書院成立前五間成員書院畢業校友)，及畢業二十五年的聯合校友參加。當晚超過四百一十位校友參加這次溫馨的聚會，打破歷年紀錄。書院並特別邀請多位榮休老師與校友於母校聚舊一番，場面溫馨熱鬧。席上，麥漢楷校友（63/中文）送上一幅七言詩軸慶賀聯合書院五十五周年誌喜，1986年工商管理的校友則獻唱由利國偉校友（86/市場）譜上新詞的《明天會更好》同賀畢業銀禧紀念。不少校友捐款支持書院的各項發展，在此書院向各位老師和校友的支持表示由衷謝意。 |
| Reunion Dinner for Alumni Graduated for 25 Years and 35 Years or above |
To celebrate the 55th Anniversary of United College, the College organised a Reunion Dinner for Alumni who graduated for 25 years and 35 years or above on 29 October 2011 at Thomas H C Cheung Gymnasium, 1/F Cheung Chuk Shan Amenities Building, United College. A record-breaking participation of over 410 United College alumni and family members joined the Reunion Dinner. The College specially invited retired staff to the dinner and enjoyed a warm evening at United College. Mr Mak Hon-kai (63/CHI) presented a calligraphy to the College, while the BBA alumni of 1986 class sang a song with new lyrics written by Mr William Lee (86/MKT), in celebrating the silver jubilee of their graduation. The College would like to present our warmest thanks to all participating guests, staff and alumni for their staunch support and donation for College development. |

College alumnus, Dr Alexander Y L Lau (03/MED), received the Croucher Foundation Fellowship for research studies in the area of stoke, neurology and medicine at the University of California, San Francisco in 2011-2012. |
