The Tien Chi Microcomputer Laboratory
 

The Tien Chi Microcomputer Laboratory, situated at the ground floor of the United College Wu Chung Multimedia Library, has been established to serve United College students, staff members and alumni. The Laboratory is managed by the United College Microcomputer Laboratory Management Advisory Committee and is financially supported by the United College Endowment Fund.

The Laboratory provides users with more than one hundred items of PC software including Microsoft Windows/Chinese Windows, Word, Chinese Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CorelDraw, MS Visual Studio . The computer system in the Laboratory is linked to the Campus Backbone Network. Functions such as e-mail(Campus Wide E-Mail System), remote computer logon, file transfer, information services (Campus Wide Information System), CD LAN service and various on-line reference services are available.
