2014-15年度『書院聚會』簡介
【時間及地點】
每學年在大學邵逸夫堂舉辦六至十次大型書院聚會,並在書院及大學校園舉辦多次小型聚會,分上、下學期進行。書院聚會主要於星期五上午11時30分至下午1時舉行,部份聚會亦會於下午或黃昏時間舉行。而其他聯系活動如研討會或講座等之舉行時間及地點,請同學留意個別安排。
【內容及形式】
每次書院聚會除設 “書院時間”、 “學生會時間”外,並設專題探討,邀請校內、外人士作嘉賓。採用之形式包括講座、討論、表演等。
【出席要求】

本院學生每個學期必須最少出席三次書院聚會/研討會/講座(上學期三次、下學期三次)。參加一年制工程學院校外實習、修讀醫學院臨床期課程(三年級或以上)以及護理學院實習期(第四年下學期)之同學除外。

書院將記錄同學出席之次數,並在同學各學期成績表上列明書院聚會出席率為「符合要求」(Pass)或「不符合要求」(Fail)。
【“電子門票”登記方法及時段】
2014-15年度的“電子門票”登記形式:

下學期第一階段登記日期及時間:
2015年1月9日(星期五)上午11時30分開始至1月11日(星期日)晚上11時正

第二階段登記日期及時間:
2015年1
月14日(星期三)下午2時正起至每一個書院聚會舉行前兩天上午9時正

同學自行在網頁上選擇,並需一次過預留下學期三次書院聚會之門票,額滿即止。

登記後如必須換掉某次聚會門票,請盡快於該次聚會截止登記前在網頁上退票,方可在餘下選擇中重新登記另一門票。

若同學錯過了已登記出席的聚會,請一星期內親身到輔導處申請另一張聚會門票。

查核出席記錄,同學請於每次出席後的一星期之後起,在書院聚會網頁上查看。若發現出席紀錄出現問題,請於三星期內盡快與輔導處聯絡,以便查核。
註:請同學在2015年1月7日下午留意書院聚會網頁的最新公佈,及瀏覽各聚會詳情。
特別注意事項:

網上登記後,每次出席書院聚會的同學須使用學生証「中大通咭」讀咭進場,作電子核對登記。

出席同學須填寫“出席表”,以便意見收集及作出席記錄。
|
(3)
|
為保障已事先登記的同學有適當座位,書院將在聚會中嚴格執行,先接受已事先在網上登記的同學出席該次聚會。輔導處將核對現場收到的“出席表”及網上登記名單。未有事先登記的同學,其出席將不作記錄論。

(4)
|
在聚會當天,若有特別情況臨時缺席(如因病或家有急事等),請事後一星期內經書面並連同証明文件親身到輔導處申請另一張聚會門票。

除以上基本三次出席要求外,書院鼓勵同學出席更多書院聚會,積極參與非形式教學活動。同學若在每學期總出席率為五次或以上,書院將於學期終結時頒予「書院聚會視野獎」作表揚。

Introduction of 2014-15 College Assemblies,
United College, CUHK
[Date and Time]
There are 6-10 College Assemblies to be held at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall in
2 academic terms of each year, while some smaller scale College
Assemblies will be held on the College and University campus. The
“College Assembly Time” is usually 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Fridays, while
some afternoon College Assemblies will be organized too. For other
related activities such as seminars and lectures, details on time and
venue will be released individually.
[Content and Format]
Guests from different fields are invited to give speeches at College
Assemblies, other formats like group discussion and performance will be
arranged also. There are a “College Time” and a session hosted by
the Student Union at each College Assembly.
[Attendance Requirement]

For each Term,
students are required to attend at least 3 College Assemblies or
related activities (3 times in the 1st term, 3 times in the 2nd
term). Students in one-year-work-study of the Engineering Faculty,
medical students (year
3 or up) in clinical studies and Nursing students in 2nd
Term of the 4th Year (clinical studies) are not required
to attend College Assemblies.

The College will give
grade to students according to the attendance records of each term:
[Pass] for “attendance requirement fulfilled”
[Fail] for “not fulfilling attendance requirement”

of Registration Time for the
2nd Term of 2014-15: From 11:30 am, 9 JAN 2015 (FRI)
to 11:00 pm, 11 JAN 2015 (SUN)

2nd Phase
of Time for Registration: From 2:00 pm, 14 JAN 2015, to 9:00 am
of 2 days before each College Assembly

Students can make
their own choices of 3 College Assemblies on the Homepage at one
time, while seats are available.
-
To change an e-ticket,
students should return the e-ticket on the Homepage asap before the
event, then register for another e-ticket among those available
ones.
-
For registration of
e-ticket to replace the original College Assembly omitted by you,
please come to the Dean of Students’ Office in person asap within
one week, to apply for another ticket among those available.
-
For checking of
attendance records, student can check on the Homepage one week after
the holding of the event. If students found there’s problem on their
attendance record, please contact Dean of Students’ Office within
3 weeks of each event held for attendance record checking. After the
3 weeks, no checking will be conducted.
N.B. Please refer to the updates on UC homepage from the afternoon of
7 JAN 2015. Details of each College Assembly will be provided.
Reminder for E-ticketing:

Students should use their Student Card (CU Link Card)
with the card-reader devices in entering the venue.
|
(2)
|
Students should complete and hand in the “Attendance Form” right
after each College Assembly for attendance record and opinion
collection.
|
(3)
|
To ensure seats for students with registered e-tickets, priority
will be given to students in admitting to the venue. Attendance
forms collected will be cross-checked with the e-ticketing
system. Attendance record of students without prior
registration will not be counted in giving grades.

|
At the date of Assembly, for absence with special reasons (e.g.
being sick or with urgent family matters), a written explanation
letter (with supporting documents) should be submitted to the
Dean of Students’ Office within one week for follow-up
arrangement.
|

Apart from the basic attendance requirement of 3 College
Assemblies, the College encourages students to attend more
College Assemblies and to participate actively in non-formal
education. “College Assembly Horizon Awards” will be given to
students who have attended five or more College Assemblies in
one Term for recognition.
