ABOUT TPDC

Team Physician Development Course (TPDC) is developed by the Education Commission of the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS). It gears towards the improvement of medical care delivered to athletes all over the world by improving the knowledge base and skills of the fieldside physician. 

The course encompasses 16.5 hours of instruction, with didactic lectures and workshops on physical examination and assessment of the athletes and laboratory demonstration, which aims to prepare physicians of any specialty to fulfill the basic fieldside medical needs of the athletes.
