"Sports Medicine and Sports Science Symposium on the Practice of Rugby at the Opening of Hong Kong Rugby Sevens 2006 (March 31, 2006) Olympic House, Hong Kong Sports Stadium"

The Symposium was successfully held and had attracted more than 100 audience, which includes physiotherapists, physical trainers, coaches, medical officers, executives from sports and health-care association, as well as medical and physiotherapy students.

This Sports Medicine and Sports Science Symposium is designed to be of interest to all allied health professionals who are interested in and participating in Sports Medicine and Sports Science, especially in the field of Rugby. The symposium has been proven to be an invaluable opportunity for the participants to explore the latest knowledge in the specialty and sharing their views and opinions.

The program featuring “Practicing Rugby: How Are We Preparing and Protecting Ourselves?” and “Rugby Injuries: From Diagnosis to Treatment” covers a wide range of topical issues such as Nutrition & Rugby Performance, Role of Team Physician and Team Physiotherapists, Medical On-Field Decision, Imaging techniques to diagnose Rugby Injuries and so on.
