Professor Lee also played a pivotal role in advancing the College’s art development by spearheading fund-raising exhibitions. Over the two decades, Professor Lee built deep bonds with many dedicated educators at CUHK, one of them was Dr. Yung Kung Hing, Senior College Tutor of Chung Chi College. In 2024, in memory of Dr. Yung, Prof. Lee generously donated his exhibits to support the establishment of “Dr. Yung Kung Hing Memorial Scholarship”. Professor Lee passed away in September 2025. To honour his contributions to student art development and his deep friendship with the CUHK community, his family generously donated 48 paintings and 66 stone sculptures by Professor Lee to Chung Chi College to raise fund for the “Dr. Yung Kung Hing Memorial Scholarship.” As a token of gratitude, any donations of HK$5,000 or above will be acknowledged with a gift of Professor Lee’s artwork.
