Project Objectives

The objective is to generate a number of videos with narrations and short interactive questions, for facilitating biochemistry students to learn common basic and advanced techniques, and for instructors and demonstrators to teach the concerned practical courses.

Key deliverables expected and timelines for completion

12 videos with narrations and interactive questions on common biochemistry principles and techniques will be generated. It is expected that 3-4 videos will be generated every six months.

New modules will be created in our existing e-learning platform and e-book, the videos generated will be incorporated to them to provide a one-stop access for the students.

We plan to release the new videos and questions to students and teachers in two stages, at the end of month 12 and 24.

Arrangements for evaluation of project deliverables/outcomes

Feedback from students and instructors on the effectiveness of the videos in teaching and learning and suggestions for improvement will be solicited though focus group discussion and questionnaires after the first stage of release.

Means for disseminating project deliverables/outcomes

The videos will be incorporated to our existing biochemistry e-learning platform to provide a one-stop access.
