Explore EdTech: Summer 2025 Training for Staff

Migration to Blackboard Ultra
|

Anthology, the service provider for Blackboard, will retire the Original Course View on 31 December 2026.

The Ultra Course View will become the default for courses in Terms 2, 3, 4, and the Summer Term of the 2025–26 academic year.

Early adoption is encouraged. If your teaching team would like to begin using Ultra in Term 1, please complete the Blackboard (Ultra) Request Form to get started.

We are bringing together IT, faculty, and academic departments to support a smooth transition. If you are a staff user with ideas to share or want to stay informed, simply fill in this form to join the Blackboard Ultra Migration Team.

2025–26 Term 1 (R1, Y1) Blackboard Courses Created
|

Blackboard courses for 2025–26 Term 1 have been created based on CUSIS data. You may now submit requests via the ITSC Service Desk for course combination, course disabling, course copying, and user enrollment.

Courses for Terms 2, 3, 4, and the Summer Term will be created in October 2025. Please submit related requests after that time.

Please note that access to Blackboard courses is limited to a specific period. For details, refer to this arrangement. If needed, back up your course materials before the end of the academic year.

Envision the Future of CUHK eLearning - ELITE
|
The newsletter is sent to all academic staff (all ranks; full-time and part-time) according to information provided by the Human Resources Office by email regularly. With the feedback received, this newsletter is sent additionally to all users in 2024-25 and 2025-26 Blackboard courses with course instructor role and TA / Support Staff role. Please help to share the information with staff/student TAs and colleagues with teaching support duties of your unit.
