Biography
Mr Albert Chow Hing-pong currently serves as the Vice-President (Administration) of the University, overseeing major administrative and professional units. Mr Chow is a seasoned academic and professional administrator. He is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors and the Chartered Management Institute, and a Founder Member of the Chartered Management Institute Hong Kong Branch. Mr Chow began his career as an accounting academic before spending 30 years in organisational management in public institutions, and progressed through various roles in quality assurance, management and governance administration. Prior to joining the University, Mr Chow served as Executive Director of The Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.
Throughout his years at the senior management level in public organisations, Mr Chow has pioneered major programme developments, driven digital transformation across client and work platforms, and led cultural change in organisational administration. By taking part in development and advisory public committees, he has built extensive connections with related government bureaux, local and regional educational establishments, and professional groups.
