Short Bio:
- KUAN Hsin-chi is Professor of Government and Public
Administration and Chairman of the Department. He serves concurrently as the Director of
the Universities Service Centre. He is a member of the University Council. He was
previously Dean of the Faculty of Social Science and University Dean of Students. He has
been active in community services. His current major involvement is with the Panel on
Social Cohesion. Past contributions include membership and sub-committee chairmanship in
the Citizen Advisory Committee of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (1986-95),
and in the Law Reform Commission (1991-97). His main research interests focus on political
development, political and legal culture, election, and civil society.
