主要分為三類：

1.書籍

必須列明的資料：1)作者 2)書名 3)出版社 4)出版年份

例：饒奇明，《美國政府之行政管理革新》，台北：文史哲出版社 (1997)。

Hsu, Immanuel C.Y.: The Rise of Modern China4, Oxford University Press,

New York and Oxford 1990. (4 means 4th edition)

2.文章或剪報

必須列明的資料：1)作者 2)文章題目 3)報章或書籍雜誌名稱 4)期號

5)出版年、月、日 6)頁數

例：

雜誌書籍：容萬成，（大學聯合招生有甚麼好處﹖），《教育資訊》

，(8月號)，(1992)，頁18-20

剪報：伍德基，(1990年9月16日)，（首屆聯招檢討），《商報》。
