A delegation led by Mr. Zhou Dating, Director of National Office for Science and Technology Awards visited CUHK on 31 May 2012. They met with Pro-Vice-Chancellors Prof. Henry Wong and watched a video about CUHK and Prof. Wong introduced the development of the University and highlighted the accomplishments in its areas of excellence. The delegation also visited the State Key Laboratory (SKL) of Agrobiotechnology (CUHK) and met with Prof. Lam Hon Ming, Associate Director of the SKL.
This visit increased the understanding of the delegation about SKL and enhanced communication between the two parties

於二零一二年五月三十一日, 國家科學技術獎勵工作辦公室代表團一行三人, 包括國家科學技術獎勵工作辦公室主任鄒大挺, 社會獎勵處處長陳蘇及京港學術交流中心科學技術部部門主管匡增意,到訪香港中文大學作交流訪問。代表團先與中大副校長黃乃正教授會晤, 觀看中大介紹短片,瞭解中大概況，和中大卓越科學領域的成果。及後代表團參觀農業生物技術國家重點實驗室, 與實驗室副主任林漢明教授會晤, 瞭解中大農業生物技術科研發展。
是次訪問加深了代表團對農業生物技術國家重點實驗室的認識，促進雙方的溝通和增加瞭解。
