CUHK's EMBA ranks First in Asia and
Australia
CUHK's Faculty
of Business Administration has remained a leading business school in Asia.
Started in 1993, its Executive MBA (EMBA) Programme serves the business community
with quality business education. In the recent Business Week EMBA Ranking,
the EMBA programme offered by the CUHK is ranked among the top 35 in the
world. It is the top EMBA programme in Asia and Australia.
The EMBA programme
of the CUHK is established with the objective of developing in participants
essential skills and knowledge in modern management, and preparing them for
general management responsibilities at the senior executive level. The programme
aims to improve participants’ analytical and decision-making capabilities,
and enhance the competitive advantages of their enterprises. Relevance will
be emphasized in the context of Hong Kong's strategic location within China
and the Asia-Pacific region.
This is the Business
Week's first ranking of EMBA programmes across the globe in a decade. 82
schools with EMBA programs, which met the basic criteria for inclusion, were
first identified. Then a survey of over 3,000 recent graduates of EMBA programs
and a poll done by the 82 EMBA program directors were done to develop a ranked
list.
The survey focused
on students' experience at their schools, teaching quality, level of support
services and curriculum flexibility. For the poll, the 82 EMBA program directors
were asked to choose ten schools that offered the highest-quality programmes.
