Prof. Yanhui Zhang received her master’s degree in Computer Assisted Language Learning and PhD degree in Second Language Acquisition from the Carnegie Mellon University. Her research interests focus on the fluency and robustness of second language learning, memory and learning, cross-language transfer, reading universals, and metalinguistic awareness. She has been engaged in several interdisciplinary research projects including computer assisted phonological perception in Chinese, bilingual literacy development in Chinese as heritage language learners, word knowledge development in English among Chinese and Israeli high school students, and Chinese Online program.
