Facilities

CEID is physically accommodated on the 2nd floor of Postgraduate Education Centre, Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin. Here is where management support is provided through the CEID General Office. A Resource Suite is to act as a clearinghouse of information on Emerging Infectious Diseases.

Laboratory facilities are located in 5/F, Li Ka Shing Medical Sciences Building and 2/F, Postgraduate Education Centre, Prince of Wales Hospital respectively. Scientific research, experiments and measurement were performed with modern equipments such as Real time PCR, Ultracentrifuge and Flow Cytometer etc.
