The Field Workshop on Methadone Treatment in HK 4-9 September 2007

The Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT) programme for injecting drug users (IDUs) is going to be piloted in two cities Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam in late 2007. Dr. Krystal Lee was invited by the World Health Organization (WHO) to organize a Field Workshop on Methadone Treatment in Hong Kong to provide training for the officials and implementers of MMT programme from the Vietnam Administration of HIV/AIDS Control (VAAC) of the Ministry of Health (MOH). The workshop was held from September 4 to 6, 2007 in HK, and a total of 18 officals have joined the workshop.
