Disability Services Coordinating Committee (DSCC)

Terms of Reference:

• Advise the University on the provision of effective services to students with disabilities
• Coordinate the administration of services / facilities for students with disabilities
• Advise & coordinate the provision of services for disabled students from relevant units

Office of Student Affairs’ Role

• Act as first point of contact on support services for disabled students
• Collect relevant information and certification regarding a student’s disability
• Assess the specific learning and daily living needs of individual students
• Liaise & coordinate with relevant Colleges / departments / units on service provision
• Provide secretarial support to the DSCC
• Raise disability awareness within CUHK
