Ah Lian [real name Cheng Wing Lim 鄭穎溓], also known as Leechard 李察

Born in Macau, Ah Lian grew up in Hong Kong. After graduating from the Department of Chinese at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1970, he has worked as a school teacher, script-writer and a newspaper columnist. His essay collections include Xinmo ji 心魔集 [Devil in the heart] (1983) and Wo shi baba 我是爸爸 [I am a father] (1988).
