Zhao Tao [real name Wong Chew To] 1938-

Born in Macau, Zhao Tao started writing in 1953 for newspapers and magazines in Macau and Hong Kong. Best known under the pen name Xiangshan Ya Huang 香山亞黃, his column Si mili 四米厘 [4mm], a film-like series of essays each with a drawing, published daily in Express News 快報 in the 1970s, made him a household name in Hong Kong. Among other collections of his works are the volume of essays Xiucai yu bi 秀才與筆 [Scholar and pen] (1984) and the comic book Dianxinzai 點心仔 [Dim sum boy] (1988).
