Project Site: Huangqiao Village, Caichang Town, Miyi County, Panzhihua City, Sichuan

        Huangqiao Village is located near Panlian Town. Owing to the successful project completion in Panlian Town, more villagers expressed their willingness to build their new rammed earth houses. After investigation, the team decided to help 3 brothers bulding their houses as demonstration project. The local custom there is simple with good relationships and practice of building houses with mutual assistance. In this connection, the construction mode can be mainly relied on their mutual assitance between villagers and the team will provide tehnical guidance.

Jun 2022 - 1st Investigation Trip

The team discussed the design plan with the households after an investigation trip in Jun and planned to commenced the construction work in Oct.

 

Jul 2023 - Aug 2023 All the construction works were completed in Jul, and the final inspection were conducted and completed in Aug.
Mar 2023 Due to some delay, 2nd floor ramming work was completed in Mar for another household. Jan 2023 The team completed the construction work for two households in Jan.
Oct 2022 The team started the construction work in Oct and targeted to complete the project before Lunar New Year by the end of Jan next year. Aug 2022 The team conducted on-site artisan training by Aug.	<
