This village house project is the second collaboration project between 1U1V and Habitat for Humanity China. Ganhaizi Village is located in Wudin County with 63 households. They are Miao and believe in Christianity. About 15 households in the village are living in traditional earth houses with poor conditions and insufficient seismic performance. They require urgent need of improvement.

April 2021

Originally, the builidng plan was for 3 new rural houses as demonstration. However, 2 households withdrew the plan due to land use disputes before the start of construction. Finally, only 1 household completed the building work in Apr.

May 2020

The team completed the foundation work for 3 households before May.
