Songlin Village is 36.2 kilometers away from Tangtang Town, with an areas of 68.24 square kilometers at an altitude of 2,350 meters. The village accomodates 12 villager groups, with a population of 5,940 in 1,304 households. There are many villagers who have house rebuilding needs and financial difficulties. "Old & Broken" is still the villagers’ impression of rammed earth houses, and they also have a conservative attitude towards new things.

The team suddenly received a notice that the project was put on hold due to the review of national land use policy by the local government. All the rural construction plans have to suspend.

Site formation work started in May. The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of Sep.
