Prof. Yutaka Sho is an Associate Professor in Faculty of Architecture, Syracuse University.She pursues architecture as a means to reveal uneven reach of globalization and to deflect resultant conflicts. She has researched and practiced in Lebanon, Bargladesh, Turky, Rwanda and Burundi, among other contries. She is a founder of General Architecture Collaborative, an interdiciplinary partners in Rwanda to built a village and an accompanying community center for a local association of women.
