Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) Project wins a Gold Medal at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva (IEIG)
Congratulations to Prof. Barbara Chan, Dr. Kalyn Cheung and the AML Project Team for winning the Gold Medal for their invention “3D biomimetic personalized drug testing platform for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)” at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva (IEIG)!
The personalized drug testing platform for leukemia consists of biomimetic 3D osteogenic niche (3DON) made of stromal cells encapsulated in collagen for biomimicking the bone marrow microenvironment to provide more physiologically relevant result to patients.
